My Approach

  1. Discovery Phase

  • Client Consultation: Extensive consultations were conducted with Azerpost to understand the institution’s operational goals, public service objectives, and expectations from the digital platform. The discovery phase focused on identifying user priorities such as service accessibility, reliability, and ease of navigation. Based on these insights, an initial strategic direction for the site’s design and functionality was established.

  • Competitive Analysis: National postal service websites and regional digital service platforms were reviewed to assess best practices in public-facing design, UX flow, and service integration. Functional benchmarks and visual references were identified to ensure Azerpost’s platform would meet modern user expectations while maintaining institutional trust and clarity.

  1. Design and Development

  • UI/UX Design: A modern, accessible interface was designed to support Azerpost’s broad range of services including postal, financial, and logistics offerings. The design language emphasized simplicity, clarity, and trust, using structured layouts, readable typography, and icon-driven navigation. The interface ensures quick access to core services such as shipment tracking, tariff calculations, and branch locations.

  1. Testing and Iteration

  • User Testing: Feedback informed a series of design refinements, particularly in terms of homepage navigation, search behavior, and mobile responsiveness. Usability scenarios including package tracking and branch search were tested and optimized to provide an intuitive experience for both digital-native and general users.

Results

The launch of Azerpost’s new website was well-received by both users and the internal team. The modern and functional design, improved service accessibility, and intuitive navigation significantly enhanced the overall user experience. Citizens were able to access key services—such as shipment tracking, tariff calculation, and branch search—more efficiently. Since the website’s launch, key performance indicators such as user traffic, session duration, and service inquiries have shown substantial improvement.
